CHINA WRITING INSTRUMENT ASSOCIATION

   中国制笔协会 （China Writing Instrument Association）是1983年经中华人民共和国民政部核准登记的社团法人，是国家一级协会,是由书写工具企业单位、科研院校、从事笔类经销商及个人自愿组成的跨地区、跨部门的全国性行业组织。协会拥有会员400多家，代表15万职工。

    制笔行业生产的产品主要有自来水笔、圆珠笔、铅笔(包括木杆铅笔、纸杆铅笔、全塑铅笔)、活动铅笔、滚珠笔、白板笔、荧光笔、各种记号笔（含各种彩色水笔）、中性墨水笔、微孔签字笔、打字机、工程仪表用笔、计算机笔、蜡笔、化妆笔、各种墨水、各种制笔专用原料、塑料、不锈钢、笔用油墨、铱粒、硬质合金球珠、铅笔芯、笔用油漆、橡皮、铝箍、其他专用零部件和制笔机械等十八大类。

    作为行业管理的主体和政府与会员之间的桥梁和纽带，中国制笔协会承担着全行业协调管理的重任，以"团结、诚信、创新、服务"为宗旨，以做好、维护行业企业的合法权益、热情为企业和行业服务为工作主要内容。

    协会按专业分工下设十个专业委员会，负责各专业领域中业务工作的协调与管理。十个专业委员会分别为自来水笔专业委员会、圆珠笔专业委员会、铅笔专业委员会、记号笔专业委员会、绘画笔专业委员会、学生用品专业委员会、打字机专业委员会、墨水专业委员会、原材料零部件专业委员会及制笔机械、装备专业委员会。

    协会设有人才培训部、科技部、品牌与区域经济培育部、综合业务部、信息会展部、办公室、制笔行业专家委员会、打假办公室以及中国制笔协会驻沪联络部，全行业设有国家级的全国制笔信息中心、全国制笔标准化中心、全国铅笔及自来水笔、圆珠笔质量监督检测中心。协会主办的刊物《中国制笔》是国内外公开发行的季刊杂志，《全国制笔信息》月刊是行业内部刊物，免费为会员单位提供。协会还建立了独立的专业网站--中国制笔信息网(http://www.china-writing.com)。

    中国制笔协会成立至今历经六届理事会，第六届理事会理事长为高峻诚，专职副理事长是孟令彦、王淑琴（女）、魏淑君（女），另外还有51位企事业负责人作为协会兼职副理事长，秘书长为孟令彦兼任，副秘书长为郑心文、吴少平、杨增耀。

    多年来，中国制笔协会在制定行业规划，推动科技进步，实施名牌战略，开展技术培训，加强国际间经贸合作交流，组团赴国外考察，培育专业市场，举办国际展览会，提高信息服务等活动中做出了卓有成效的工作。本行业企业生产的笔类产品和各种笔用原材料，零部件等主要产品除供应国内市场需求外还销往世界150多个国家和地区，深受国际市场的青睐。中国制笔工业经过几代人的共同努力，面貌发生了历史性变化，形成了相当规模和一定水平、门类比较齐全，既能基本满足国内需求，又有一定国际竞争能力的生产体系，成为世界制笔生产大国和出口大国。中国制笔协会将不断为制笔行业的繁荣与进步贡献力量。

    中国制笔协会常年开展积极的国际交流与合作，诚挚欢迎国际制笔同仁来华参观访问、洽谈贸易、技术交流、经济合作、投资融资，在互利互惠的基础上谋求共同发展。

Brief Introduction
  China Writing Instrument Association, short as CWIA, was established in 1983 in Beijing and registered with the Ministry of Domestic Affairs as a commonalty.
  CWIA is a national, professional, non-profit voluntary social organization organized and participated by enterprises, institutions and other organizations of the industry. Now, there are more than 400 registered members in the Association. It also has several regional social organization members in Wenzhou, Yiwu, Jiangsu, Lishui, Tonglu, Wengang, Ningbo. In addition, the Association consists of six professional committees according to the specialty, including professional committee of fountain pen, pencil professional committee, professional committee of ball pen, ink professional committee, professional committee of raw materials, spare parts and equipments, typewriter professional committee.
  Enterprises of members are distributed in a lot of provinces in China. Their products include fountain pens, ball pens, pencils, mechanical pencils, roller pens, white board pens, highlighter pens, all kinds of marker pens, gel ink pens, microdot pens, project instrument pens, computer pens, crayon, cosmetic pencils, writing inks, equipments and making-pen special materials, such as plastic, stainless steel, iridium, the ball pearl of hard alloy, lead, paint, erasers, aluminum hoop and other spare parts, etc.
  Since establishing, CWIA has experienced five councils altogether and director of the fifth council is Mr. Gao Juncheng. Moreover, there are about 32 Vice-directors in the association, Mr. Meng Lingyan, Mr. Hu Shugang, Mr. Qiu Zhiming, Mr. Xie Sipeng, Mr. Cai Wenrong, Mr. Sun Jianzhong, Ms. Wang Liijun, Mr. Zhang Guozeng, Mr. Fan Jiyong, Mr. Yao Qing, Mr. Yu Jiangang, Mr. Ye Zhiheng, Mr. Huang Xiaoxi, Mr. Xie Zhifang, Mr. Wu Rongtao, Mr. Chen Sanyuan, Mr. Liu Taizhong, Mr. Kui Weiliang, Mr. Zhang Hanping, Mr. Shi Xinguang, Mr. Han Aiguo, Mr. Yang Lianbiao, Mr. Chen Mingguang, Mr. Du Baochen, Mr. Jiang Jinbo, Mr. Gui Zhongde, Mr. Gui Jianping, Mr. Li Zhangdi, Mr. Chen Jinmin and Mr. Zhou Yubiao.   The aim of CWIA is to carry out the relevant laws, regulations, and policies and to maintain the interest of the whole industry as well as the legal right of the members. CWIA is home of the vast number writing instrument enterprises in China.
  The main roles of CWIA are as follows:
  1. To bridge the government, enterprises and markets;
  2. To protect interest of members while standing to the law and regulation;
  3. To deploy the research on the basic information of the industry and promote the technology process;
  4. To improve the enterprises management and enhance the healthy development of the industry；
  5. To organize the internal information communication, technique training and provide consultation service;
  6. To coordinate the relations among the enterprises and inter-trade on production, operation, price, quality, and so on, and protect the fair competition;
  7. To work out industrial standard and supervise product quality;
  8. To hold International Exhibition of Writing Instruments Office Stationery, China.
  9. To edit and publish《China Writing Instrument》and《National Writing Instrument Information》magazines.
  Through several generations' efforts, the industry has changed very greatly in China. According to current statistics, the number of relevant enterprises in China has exceeded 3000, which shows evidently that CWIA has a broad membership basis.
  CWIA has been devoted to strength Cooperation with foreign counterparts. We welcome the international colleague to come to china to visit, consult trade, exchange technology and invest. We hope that the world writing instrument industry develops together on the basis of mutual reciprocity and mutual benefit.
